Do Our Kids Get Too Much?

Even in a recession some kids seem to have more toys and receive more presents than they will ever play with.....Is there a solution? Should we encourage our children to give to those less fortunate (see http://www.oxfamireland.org/passthepresent or should we just let our children enjoy the moment?
